About Us

Ever wondered where your favourite bar of chocolate comes from? It is this inquisitive question that led to the inception of Colocal Chocolates in 2020. Featuring India’s first live chocolate factory with a cafe, we set up our first outlet in Delhi’s Dhan Mill Compound with a vision to bring the audience closer to the bean-to-bar experience. We take pride in making Indian origin chocolates from scratch and invite you to experience the process at our chocolate factory any day of the week. Colocal also has cafes in Khan Market and Noida and we’re ever so grateful for the love we receive across all three outlets, every single day.

Sheetal Saxena


Sheetal is a self-taught chocolate maker and has honed her craft by dedication and practice. Her quest to learn the chocolate craft took her on a journey starting at a cacao plantation in Vietnam to then an education of this labour of love from chocolatier experts all around Paris, Belgium & abroad. She set up Colocal along with her husband Nishant in 2020 in an abandoned rice mill factory in Chattarpur which is now come to be known as Delhi’s first live chocolate factory + cafe space. Colocal Chocolates prides itself in making small batches of Indian chocolates, sometimes producing over 600kg, 25kgs with every part of the process carried out under one roof.

Our production gives us greater control over the quality, sustainability and allows us to get creative with flavours. Single-origin bars, vegan, some inclusion bars and a chocolate tasting room all can be enjoyed at Colocal.

Anshi Saxena


Following in the footsteps of her older sister, Sheetal Saxena, who founded Colocal Chocolates in 2020, Anshi Saxena mastered the art of chocolate making and took the reins of the brand as co-founder soon after. She oversees end-to-end operations for Colocal’s three cafes, including the chocolate factory at their flagship Dhan Mill outlet. A passionate chocolate maker with a vision to take the legacy of Indian origin chocolate to new heights, Anshi Saxena believes in the old adage: work hard in silence and let your success make the noise.
